Zhang Weili rises to number-three in the UFC’s official P4P rankings, sits just below Amanda Nunes & Valentina Shevchenko

Zhang Weili has risen to number-three in the official UFC women’s pound-for-pound rankings after re-capturing the strawweight title this past Saturday.

Zhang Weili submitted Carla Esparza at UFC 281.


Weili put on a sensational performance at UFC 281 on Saturday, submitting Carla Esparza in the second round to become a two-time UFC strawweight champion.

The UFC has since updated its official rankings, and Zhang Weili has jumped up to number three in the pound-for-pound list. She is just below Amanda Nunes and Valentina Shevchenko respectively. Meanwhile, Carla Esparza has dropped two spots to the number-six position.
