Friday night at the LFA 147 event, Helen Peralta picked up a unanimous decision victory over Aline Pereira in flyweight action (29-28, 29-28, 29-28).

The fight was an epic three-round battle with both women coming close to victory on different occasions. Pereira notably dropped Peralta in the second round, but would then get knocked down herself in the third and final round.

With the victory, Peralta spoils the highly-anticipated pro MMA debut of UFC middleweight champ Alex Pereira’s little sister, Aline. History repeats itself, as Alex Pereira also lost his pro MMA debut back in 2015.

It was certainly a tough match-up for Pereira in her debut. Peralta has a lot of experience, having previously fought for Invicta FC and Bare Knuckle FC. The 34-year-old appeared on The Ultimate Fighter earlier this year and was part of Team Julianna Pena.

Take a look at highlights from Peralta vs. Pereira below.

LFA 147 took place on Friday November 18, 2022, from the WinnaVegas Casino in Sloan, Iowa. The card will air on UFC Fight Pass from 9 p.m. ET.
