Undefeated flyweight prospect Diana Avsaragova has finally announced a date for her highly anticipated Bellator MMA debut.
Avsaragova (2-0-0) signed with Bellator MMA in 2019 but has yet to make her promotional debut. She announced earlier this month that her visa issues have been resolved and expects to make her debut later this year.
On Sunday, Avsaragova took to her Instagram page to announce that her Bellator MMA debut will take place at the Bellator 256 event on April 9.
“Come on, see you soon @bellatormma 😈 9 April # bellator256 🤜🏻🤛🏻.” Avsaragova wrote – translated from Russian.
Fighting out of Russia, Avsaragova is 2-0-0 as a professional MMA competitor. The 22-year-old is a close friend and training partner of UFC bantamweight, Liana Jojua. Also known as the ‘Pantera’, Avsaragova has previously competed in the bantamweight division but is expected to make the move down to 125-pounds for her promotional debut.
The Russian has not been in action since May 2019 when she picked up a unanimous decision win over Ania Lurchenkova. Her other victory was a first-round armbar submission win over Alina Makarova back in December 2017.
