UFC flyweight Tim Elliott has responded to a recent claim by Megan Anderson that Laura Sanko and James Krause had an affair.

Anderson made some shocking claims on Thursday.

The MMA world was in shock on Thursday when former UFC featherweight Megan Anderson hit out at Glory MMA gym for failing to prepare her for Amanda Nunes, as well as accusing the head coach James Krause and popular UFC reporter Laura Sanko of having an affair. The accusation is a serious one – especially considering Laura Sanko has been married to entrepreneur Nathan Sanko since 2012, whilst Krause has been married to his wife Shynel Krause for over a decade.

Elliott, who also trains at Glory MMA, took to Twitter on Friday to have his say on the situation.

Megan’s mad Laura got the job she was after, she’s just salty.” he wrote.

Tim Elliott is not the only Glory MMA team member to hit out at Anderson for her recent comments. Fellow UFC flyweight fighter Jeff Molina released a lengthy statement on Wednesday accusing Anderson of being lazy and reckless to work with.

Sanko and Anderson were at one time very close friends. Whilst training together at the Glory MMA gym, the pair hosted a popular MMA YouTube show in which they offered fight analysis and predictions. Things obviously turned sour between the two women at some point during 2021.

Anderson retired from MMA competition following her loss to Amanda Nunes. She currently works as an analyst for ESPN and Invicta FC. Meanwhile, Laura Sanko is currently one of the UFC’s most beloved stars as a lead reporter and analyst. She has also done commentary on Dana White’s Contender Series and one day hopes to make history by becoming the UFC’s first female commentator.
