UFC’s Julia Avila defends female fighters who join OnlyFans following recent comment by Miesha Tate

UFC bantamweight contender Julia Avila has jumped to the defense of female fighters who join OnlyFans following a recent comment made by Miesha Tate.

Julia Avila owns notable MMA victories over the likes of Marion Reneau, Nicco Montano, Pannie Kianzad and Julija Stoliarenko.

Earlier this week, a fan suggested to Miesha Tate on her YouTube channel that she should join OnlyFans. Tate responded “No where in this video did I say I was desperate.”. The comment has since been published by various media outlets, including MMA News & Bloody Elbow, before being reported by WMMA Rankings on Sunday afternoon.

After the comments were posted on WMMA Rankings Instagram page, Julia Avila took to the replies section to let her feelings be known on the term “desperate” being used.

This is aggravating. Yes women have an only fans and what of it? Maybe they want attention. Maybe they want an extra dollar. Maybe they just WANT TO CELEBRATE THEIR WOMANHOOD AND HOW FUCKING GORGEOUS THEY ARE. it’s not our place to judge or to tear down another woman for it. Fix your crown queen before casting stones on another because, honey, NONE of us are without fault and it’s a hard fucking world without having to tear one another down. 🐼💜 rather than criticizing how about, “it’s not for me”, plain and simple.” she said.

I really hope that this was taken out of context because I’ve always respected her as a role model for other people. So I’ll give the benefit of a doubt.” she continued.

Various female MMA fighters have joined the OnlyFans subscription service over the past few years including Cindy Dandois, Felice Herrig, Jessica Penne, Kyra Batara, Bec Rawlings, Emily Whitmire and Kay Hansen. Meanwhile, the likes of Paige VanZant, Rachael Ostovich, and Pearl Gonzalez are offering similar subscription based platforms for fans to view their content.

Fight fans, what are your views on the situation? Let us know in the comments section below.
