UFC flyweight champ Valentina Shevchenko has once again defended the UFC ring girls, this time following comments made by Uriah Hall.

UFC champ Valentina Shevchenko is a huge supporter of the ring girls.

Last week, former UFC fighter Uriah Hall told the press that he retired from MMA competition due to not making enough money. He expressed disgust with the fact the ring card girls make more money than him.

Cause you’re going out there and fighting and you’re putting your brain cells on the line and f—king ring card girls are making $70,000, which is utterly f—king ridiculous,” he said.

‘The Bullet’ Valentina Shevchenko caught wind of Hall’s comments and took to her Twitter page to let her feelings be known.

When fighter retiring from fights all they can think about is ring girls @UriahHallMMA 😄.” she wrote.

Shevchenko has made it no secret that the UFC ring girls fully have her support. In 2021, after UFC Hall of Famer Khabib Nurmagomedov branded the ring girls “useless”, Shevchenko had some words to say.

Beautiful women is a decoration of any event. And I want people to know that, and no one has the right to say they are useless, because they are in the place where they have to be. They were here at the beginning, and you will come to any event, and you will see beautiful woman, and you, as a man, like everyone, enjoys it, right? It’s beautiful, right? This is decoration.” she said.
