Undefeated flyweight prospect Tereza Bleda has confirmed that she has signed a contract with the UFC.
Bleda (6-0-0) appeared on Dana White’s Contender Series this past September but was not given a contract by UFC president Dana White. It appears the head honcho has had a change of mind with Bleda now being given an opportunity.
“Absolutely awesome news ❗️ I can’t believe this is happening. When dreams comes true 😍.” Bleda wrote in a post on her Instagram page, alongside a photo announcing her signing with the UFC.
Bleda defeated Nayara Maia via unanimous decision on DWCS this past July, however, Dana White felt like the highly-touted 20-year-old could have displayed more urgency to finish the fight. Also known as ‘Ronda’, the OKTAGON flyweight champion has finished four of her six career victories by way of knockouts and submissions.
Fans can expect an announcement on Bleda’s first fight in the very imminent future.
