UFC flyweight Miranda Maverick has responded to fans who accuse her of taking steroids.

Maverick is coming off a submission win over Sabina Mazo.

Maverick (10-4-0) is a standout prospect in the UFC’s flyweight division. Utilizing a combination of technique and power, Maverick has been able to overwhelm and dominate opponents. Her notable promotional wins include the likes of Gillian Robertson, Sabina Mazo and Liana Jojua.

In a recent post on her Instagram story, Maverick had a message for haters who’ve been accusing her of taking PEDs.

I have never taken any sort of SARM or steroid. I have solid genetics for muscle building and I also worked hard since my youth. I’m pictured just turning 14 and all of the fence you see (plus miles more) I helped thread together with pipewrenches and pound posts and lifted and carried each post alone. That was just one summer on top of years of hard work. I’ve had a 6-pack most of my life and very developed arms/shoulders. GET OVER IT.” she wrote.

Maverick returns to the cage at the UFC Fight Night event on November 5 when she takes on Shanna Young.
