A scheduled UFC bantamweight bout between Marion Reneau and Macy Chiasson has been postponed for a second time – this time due to an injury.

The scheduled 135-pound clash between Reneau and Chiasson has been moved from February 27 to the March 20th UFC on ESPN+ 46 event. The reason for the delay is due to an injury suffered by Chiasson, exact details have not yet been disclosed.
The fight was originally scheduled to take place at a UFC Fight Night event at the beginning of this month but was postponed to February 27 after Reneau tested positive for COVID-19. With Chiasson now being injured, the bout moving to March 20th marks the second time this fight has had to be delayed.
Reneau (9-6-1) will be looking to rebound from a three-fight losing skid in which she has lost out via unanimous decisions to Cat Zingano, Yana Kunitskaya and Raquel Pennington.
Chiasson (6-1-0) successfully rebounded from her first career loss by defeating Shanna Young in February 2020, the 29-year-old will look to go on a two-fight win streak and potentially crack the top-ten when she faces off against Reneau.
