UFC champ Rose Namajunas enters as betting underdog for this Thursday’s bout against BJJ star Danielle Kelly

UFC champ Rose Namajunas is entering as the betting underdog for her upcoming grappling fight against BJJ star Danielle Kelly at this Thursday’s ‘Fury Pro Grappling 3’ event.

Rose Namajunas is the reigning UFC strawweight champion of the world.

Namajunas will take on Danielle Kelly in the main event of the Fury Pro Grappling 3 event on Thursday December 30, 2021, at the 2300 Arena in Philadelphia. It seems as though Namajunas has her hands full if the odds are anything to go by. The reigning UFC strawweight champion is currently the +240 underdog leading into the bout, meaning Kelly is the 3/1 favorite to win the match.

This isn’t the first time that Danielle Kelly has welcomed a UFC star into her own world. She owns notable submission wins over Cynthia Calvillo and Roxanne Modafferi in BJJ competition. The black belt now looks to add the biggest name of all by taking out one of the UFC’s most beloved stars in Rose Namajunas.

Namajunas (11-4-0) has had an incredibly successful year after knocking out Weili Zhang in April to capture the UFC strawweight championship and successfully defending it in the rematch last month. The 29-year-old now looks to end the year on an even bigger high by taking out a standout BJJ star at her own game.

CFFC: Fury 3 takes place on December 30, 2021, from the 2300 Arena in Phildelphia, Pennsylvania, United States. The event will be aired live on UFC Fight Pass from 7pm ET.
