Saturday night at UFC 281, Poland’s Karolina Kowalkiewicz emerged victorious in strawweight action, defeating Argentina’s Silvana Gomez Jaurez via unanimous decision (29-28 x3).

After relying on her wrestling in the first round, Kowalkiewicz and Gomez Juarez engaged in a competitive striking fight for the next ten minutes. Ultimately, despite some last minute changes to the scorecards, Kowalkiewicz was declared the winner.

Kowalkiewicz climbs to 14-7-0 overall, extending her current win streak to two since moving to American Top Team.
