Silvana Gomez Juarez and Shanna Young have seemingly been cut from the UFC roster following recent losses.

Both women were removed from the UFC’s roster listings on Tuesday following defeats at event’s earlier this month.

Gomez Juarez lost to Karolina Kowalkiewicz via unanimous decision at this past Saturday’s UFC 281 event. The 37-year-old went 3-1 in her promotional run, with her other defeats coming by way of submissions to Vanessa Demopoulos and Lupita Godinez. Gomez’ contract reportedly expired and the UFC have not decided to renew it. Her lone victory came by way of a knockout against Na Liang earlier this year.

Young also went 3-1 in her UFC run, starting her career with defeats to Macy Chiasson and Stephanie Egger and then picking up a TKO win over Gina Mazany. She fought at the UFC Vegas 64 event earlier this month and lost to Miranda Maverick via unanimous decision.

WMMA Rankings has reached out for comment to both women and will report back with any updates.
