Bellator MMA has signed Sara McMann to a multi-fight contract.

McMann announced on Tuesday that she’ll be joining the organization to compete in the 145-pound featherweight division.

The 42-year-old departed from the UFC earlier this year in order to explore free agency. As part of the Bellator roster, she’ll join the likes of Cris Cyborg, Arlene Blencowe and Cat Zingano in the women’s featherweight division.

McMann believes she has what it takes to be world champion at 145-pounds and feels as though Bellator is the premiere organization for the division.
