A bantamweight fight between Ketlen Vieira and Raquel Pennington has been made official for the UFC Vegas 67 event on January 14, per MMA Fighting.

Vieira (13-2-0) is coming off the biggest wins of her career after picking up consecutive decision victories against former champions Holly Holm and Miesha Tate. The 31-year-old is on the cusp of a title shot and a victory in January would certainly cement it.

Pennington (14-8-0) is currently on a four-fight win streak after taking out Aspen Ladd, Macy Chiasson, Pannie Kianzad and Marion Reneau. The 34-year-old was previously unsuccessful in her quest for championship glory after losing to Amanda Nunes by way of a fifth-round TKO. A statement win against Vieira, as well as what would be a five-fight win streak, might just be enough to earn Pennington another crack at the title.

UFC Vegas 67 takes place on January 14, 2022, from the UFC APEX in Las Vegas, Nevada, United States.
