Former Invicta FC champ and UFC contender Felicia Spencer is set to guest commentate for next Saturday’s PAWFC 1 event.
Spencer (9-3-0) retired from MMA competition late last year following a sensational third-round TKO victory over Leah Letson. The 31-year-old, a former Invicta FC featherweight champion, is considered amongst one of the best 145-pound female fighters of all time and is known for her wars against the likes of Cris Cyborg and Amanda Nunes.
The Canadian may no longer be competing in MMA, however she is still very much involved in the sport. Spencer will be guest-commentating for next Saturday’s inaugural PAWFC 1 event, a new all-women’s professional mixed martial arts organization.
“We are proud and honoured to announce Felicia Spencer as one of our guest commentators. She is the former Invicta FC featherweight champion and competed in the featherweight division of the Ultimate Fighting Championship.” the organization wrote on social media.
UFC & PFL veteran Sarah Kaufman (22-5-0) is set to headline the event when she takes on Claudia Leite (7-2-0) for the inaugural bantamweight championship. Meanwhile, former KOTC champ Andy Nguyen (6-9-0) will co-headline as she battles undefeated Laura Fontoura (6-0-0) for the inaugural strawweight championship. (Click HERE for more).
PAWFC 1 takes place on Saturday January 15, 2022, from the Grey Eagle Events Centre in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. The event will be aired live on pay-per-view from 9pm ET.
