Former UFC flyweight competitor Poliana Botelho has signed with Bellator MMA, per AG Fight.

Poliana Botelho ended her five-year UFC run earlier this year.

Botelho (9-5-0) competed in the UFC from 2017 to June of this year. The Brazilian went 3-4 with the promotion and was cut from the roster following her latest bout in which she lost by way of a first-round submission to Karine Silva. She fought for Invicta FC last month, defeating Helen Peralta via unanimous decision.

The 33-year-old will fight alongside the likes of Juliana Velasquez, Ilima-Lei Macfarlane, and Justine Kish as part of Bellator’s flyweight division. The organization’s reigning 125-pound champ is Liz Carmouche.

As well as competing as an MMA fighter, Botelho also takes part in modeling work and regularly shares the shots on her Instagram page.

Botelho’s Bellator debut has not been booked as of this time. Stay tuned for more details.
