Flyweight fight between Andrea Lee & Maycee Barber made official for UFC event on March 25

A flyweight fight between Andrea Lee and Maycee Barber has been made official for the UFC event on March 25, per MMA Fighting.

Lee (13-6-0) has won two of her last three fights after picking up impressive finishes over Cynthia Calvillo and Antonina Shevchenko, but most recently losing to Viviane Araujo by way of a unanimous decision. The 33-year-old will be looking to get back on track and make her case for a shot at UFC flyweight champion, Valentina Shevchenko. Also known as ‘KGB’, Lee is positioned at number nine in the UFC’s official flyweight contender rankings.

Barber (11-2-0) is riding high on a three-fight win streak with decisions against Miranda Maverick, Montana De La Rosa, and Jessica Eye. The 24-year-old is currently number twelve in the UFC’s 125-pound rankings and is hoping to jump into the top ten with a dominant win in March.
