As first reported by Combate, Vanessa Melo will step in to face Sarah Alpar at the UFC Oklahoma City event on May 2 after Duda Santana was forced to pull out due to injury.
Melo (10-7-0) will be seeking her first UFC victory after dropping decisions to Irene Aldana and Tracy Cortez in her first two bouts. The 31-year-old owns notable career wins over Molly McCann, Jan Finney and Mariana Morais.
Alpar (9-4-0) will be making her promotional debut after submitting Shanna Young on an episode of Dana White’s Contender Series last year to earn a contract. The 28-year-old is a former LFA and SCS bantamweight champion.
UFC on ESPN+ 32 takes place on Saturday May 2, 2020, from the Chesapeake Energy Arena in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, United States.
