UFC Vegas 64 takes place next Saturday November 5, 2022, from the UFC APEX in Las Vegas, Nevada, United States.

A huge strawweight clash headlines next week’s UFC Vegas 64 event.

A strawweight contest will headline the event when Marina Rodriguez takes on fellow-Brazilian Amanda Lemos.

Rodriguez (16-1-2) is currently on an impressive fight-win streak which includes a knockout win over Amanda Ribas, as well as decision victories against Michelle Waterson, Mackenzie Dern and Xiaonan Yan. The 35-year-old’s last defeat came in July 2020 by way of a split decision to the now reigning UFC strawweight champ, Carla Esparza.

Lemos (12-2-1) has gone 6-1 since moving down to the strawweight division, with her sole defeat coming by way of a first-round submission to Jessica Andrade. Also 35-years-old, Lemos owns notable victories over the likes of Michelle Waterson and Angela Hill.

Three female fights will feature on the preliminary card. A flyweight contest between Miranda Maverick & Shanna Young, a strawweight bout pitting Polyana Viana against Jinh Yu Frey, and finally a bantamweight fight with Tamires Vidal & Ramona Pascual.
