Bobbi-Jo Dalziel (5-1) is stepping in to replace Genah Fabian against one of the tournament favorites, Kayla Harrison. While there has not been an official announcement at the time of this post, PFL has changed their website to reflect the updated contest.

Ironically, it was Dalziel that beat Fabian in the first round of the tournament via unanimous decision. However, Fabian went on to beat Moriel Charneski in the next round to advance, while Dalziel lost via submission to Larissa Pacheco, who’s fighting the other tournament favorite, Sarah Kaufman in a preceding semifinal match.

The winner of the Dalziel-Harrison and Pacheco-Kaufman fights will meet in the tournament final on New Year’s Eve.

  1. That’s a shocker. I heard Genah missed weight. Anybody hear by how much? What a way to blow a chance (however slim) at $1M. Great opportunity for Bobbi-Jo, but that would have to be upset of the year if she prevailed.

  2. What is the situation with Genah Fabian? Is she injured? Was she on a path not to make weight? Well, I hope she is able to come back and get some cage experience by fighting on a PFL Futures card to get her ready for 2020 PFL Regular season if possible.
