Paige VanZant vs. Britain Hart headlines February 5’s Bare Knuckle FC: KnuckleMania event.

Bare Knuckle FC confirmed earlier this week that the bout between Hart and VanZant will be the event’s headliner. Hart recently reacted to the news on her Instagram page.

Well here it goes 🔥🔥🔥…it’s not often you see women feature as the main event…I had the opportunity once and barely fell short; I’m here for #redemption and to take what I have worked so hard for and to make RIGHT!!!! It’s in my mind heart and soul not to give up…and now…I’m not leaving it to the judges…the world will see the best fight #britainhart has had yet 🔥🔥🔥 #heretorise.” she said.

Hart (4-4-3 in Pro Boxing, 1-2 in bare-knuckle boxing) will be making her third appearance for the Bare Knuckle FC after recently picking up her first promotional win this past November against Randine Elkholm. As well as fighting for the BKFC, Hart also actively competes in professional boxing competition.

VanZant (8-5-0 in Pro MMA) will be making her Bare-Knuckle boxing debut after competing in MMA for the majority of her combat sports career. During her time with the UFC, VanZant picked up wins over the likes of Bec Rawlings, Felice Herrig, Rachael Ostovich, Alex Chambers and Kailin Curran. The 26-year-old has been training at the American Top Team in preparation for her BKFC debut.

Bare Knuckle FC: KnuckleMania takes place on February 5, 2021, from Tampa, Florida. The event will be aired live worldwide via pay-per-view.
