Bellator MMA featherweight Cat Zingano has revealed exactly when she is hoping to fight again following a successful promotional debut against Gabrielle Holloway last year.

Zingano (11-4-0) made her Bellator MMA debut this past September, defeating Gabrielle Holloway via unanimous decision. The 38-year-old, who owns notable career wins over the likes of Amanda Nunes and Miesha Tate, is a fan-favorite in the women’s featherweight division with many tipping her for a future title shot against the Bellator 145-pound champ, Cris Cyborg.
On Thursday night, when asked by a fan when she will be fighting next, Zingano responded that she is hopeful for a February fight.
Bellator’s schedule for 2021 has not yet been released, however Bellator president Scott Coker recently revealed the organization is expecting a February restart, meaning an announcement could be on the way anytime now.
“As far as starting, we’re probably thinking sometime in February. We haven’t locked a date down yet, but that’s probably what we’re thinking in February to launch with our first fight of 2021.” Coker told MMAJunkie.
