Bellator 239 results: Denise Kielholtz continues her rise, submits Kristina Williams in the first round

Friday night at the Bellator 239 event, Denise Kielholtz emerged victorious in flyweight action, defeating Kristina Williams via first-round rear-naked choke submission.

With the victory, Kielholtz improves her professional record to 5-2-0 and is now on a three-fight win streak.

The 30-year-old kickboxing champ is continuously evolving as a fighter and has shown significant improvements to her MMA game over the last few years, finishing all three of her recent victories, two by way of submissions.

Take a look at the finish below:

  1. Kristina’s a pretty good striker but Denise made her look like an amateur. Watch out Ilima, Denise is coming your way. I figure Juliana should be Ilima’s next opponent and in the meantime Denise can take on Alejandra, with the winner getting to challenge for the title.

  2. Final fight on her Bellator contract for Kristina Williams, not looking good for her in her last two fights.
