Aspen Ladd has commented on her move to the PFL after being released from her UFC contract last month.

Aspen Ladd will be competing at featherweight in PFL.

Ladd (9-3-0) will be making her PFL debut on November 25 when she takes on Julia Budd at the PFL Championships 2022 event. The 27-year-old was released from her UFC contract last month after missing the 135-pound bantamweight limit on multiple occasions.

During a recent chat with Ariel Helwani, Ladd spoke about the move to PFL.

I couldn’t be happier. I think people think there is one option, but there really isn’t. There are multiple. I don’t get the one-promotion mindsets. UFC or nothing, it’s really not. I think right now what the PFL is doing, they have only been around for four years and look at the impact they have made. It’s incredible.” she said.

Fair to say.” Ladd said when asked if she’s being paid more in PFL. “It’s been nothing but good news. You had that awful thing happen and then everything since then has just been continually getting better.”

The PFL 2022 Championships event takes place on November 25 from the Hulu Theatre at Madison Square Garden in Las Vegas, Nevada, United States. The event will be aired live on pay-per-view.
