A women’s lightweight fight between Sarah Patterson and Moriel Charneski has been added to the ‘Revolution Combat Championships 14’ event on December 29.
Patterson (5-3-0) has been competing as a professional mixed martial artist since the year of 2002. She has won four of her last five, which includes first round stoppages over Tamikka Brents, Erica Grover and Kate Bloomfield. ‘Primal’ is currently the No. 2 ranked lightweight fighter in the world, behind Jozette Cotton whom she lost to via a close decision this past September.
Charneski (2-4-0) will be returning to competition following a 19-month layoff. The 28-year-old, also known as “The Mo-chine”, will be looking to rebound from a two-fight losing skid. She believes she has made significant improvements to her MMA game since her last fight and feels as though she will perform at a much higher level when cutting less weight.
