Virna Jandiroba and Janaisa Morandin to fight for vacant Invicta FC strawweight title on March 24

Virna Jandiroba and Janaisa Morandin will battle for the vacant Invicta FC strawweight title on March 24, the organization announced the news this past Thursday night.

Jandiroba is one of the most highly-touted prospects in the strawweight division.

Jandiroba (12-0) made her Invicta FC debut this past December, submitting Amy Montenegro in the very first round. She has finished ten of her twelve professional victories by way of submissions.

Morandin (10-1) was last in action at Invicta FC 26, earning a unanimous decision win over Kinberly Novaes. The victory meant she successfully rebounded from a decision loss to Livia Souza in August, Souza has since been signed to the UFC.

Invicta FC 28 takes place on March 24, the location has not yet been announced. The event will air live on UFC Fight Pass.
