VIDEO: Ronda Rousey gets emotional about WWE co-workers: “I’ve never had women support and be happy for me like this”

Former UFC bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey is loving her new job as a professional wrestler for the World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) and in particular likes the support system amongst the organization’s female talents.

Rousey wowed audiences at Wrestlemania 34.

Rousey, a pioneer of MMA, recently competed in the WWE’s flagship Wrestlemania 34 event. The 31-year-old electrified viewers in her wrestling debut and successfully showed the world why she belongs in the professional wrestling industry.

Professional wrestling is a form of performance art which combines athletics with theatrical performance. The matches have predetermined outcomes to heighten entertainment value and all combative maneuvers are executed with the full cooperation of those involved and carefully performed in specific manners intended to lessen the chance of actual injury. These facts were once kept highly secretive, but are now a widely accepted open secret.

Almost a week since Wrestlemania 34 took place, a video has surfaced of Rousey’s coworkers backstage at the event watching her match live. Following the completion of the five-star showing, Rousey returns backstage to be congratulated by her new co-workers and the “Rowdy” one gets emotional. Take a look below.

  1. that girl is brittle as glass. She is truamatized from her UFC experience. the overexposure, the cartoonish persona that was forced on her (and also created by her), Dana White’s evil selfish pressure to get Ronda to prop up paperviews, may he burn in hell for that. He did nothing to prevent Ronda from burning up and burning out.

  2. First, haters saw Ronda was hurt upset and smelled blood. Second when anyone even says the word suicide we should all stop and think before we speak. Ronda was honest poured her heart out and people were out right cruel. Ronda gave back to people an animals its a shame people enjoyed her pain. Ronda was MMA , it appears without her its not close to the same.
