Crystal Stokes will make her highly anticipated mixed martial arts debut on October 15 when she battles King Reina in a women’s welterweight showdown at the ‘RIZIN 2017 in Fukuoka’ event.
Stokes (0-0), a close friend and training partner of UFC featherweight champion, Cris Cyborg, will be looking to make an immediate statement in her MMA debut by taking out the number-one welterweight fighter in the world in King Reina. The 38-year-old, who stands at 6’0, competed as a gymnast for 20 years, as well as serving eleven years as a United States Marine. She currently plays Women’s Professional Football as a Defensive End for the San Diego Surge and has been training in MMA for several years now.
