VIDEO: Gabi Garcia gets tearful as she apologizes for missing weight by 27-pounds

Gabi Garcia has apologized for failing to make weight for her 209-pound catchweight fight against 53-year-old Shinobu Kandori.

Garcia failed to reach the 209lb limit, weighing in almost 27-pounds heavier at 236.94lbs. Meanwhile, Kandori weighed in well under the limit, coming in at 162.25lbs. Following the failed weight cut, RIZIN president, Nobu Sakakibara, decided to cancel the fight.

Despite the fight’s removal from the card, Garcia was still present at the event and apologized to her fans. Take a look below!
