Former UFC bantamweight Larissa Pacheco made a successful return to competition last weekend following a three year hiatus from the sport.
Pacheco (11-2-0) signed with the UFC in late 2014, however she was released from her contract following back-to-back losses to Jessica Andrade and Germaine de Randamie. Following her departure from the company, the 23-year-old decided to take three years away from competition in order to work on her game as well as put on size and strength.
The Brazilian made her highly anticipated return to the cage last weekend, earning herself a second-round submission win over Karolline Rosa. Pacheco is now competing as a bigger 145-pound featherweight and is looking more impressive than ever.
