UFC strawweight Felice Herrig is furious with Conor McGregor following his disgusting actions which took place yesterday in Brooklyn, New York.
The shameful incident, which took place at the arena which will be hosting UFC 223 on Saturday night, began when McGregor, and an entourage, gate-crashed a scheduled media day event. However, as they entered the location, fighters competing on Saturday were already being loaded into vans for transport to the official fighter hotel. Shortly after arriving, McGregor and his crew were captured on video mobbing one of the vans holding fighters including UFC strawweight champion Rose Namajunas. During this encounter, windows in the van were smashed. This led to Michael Chiesa and Ray Borg being pulled from their fights, whilst Namajunas was said to have been severely shaken up. It has since been reported by multiple outlets that McGregor will be charged with three counts of assault and one count of criminal mischief.
Herrig (14-6), who fights Karolina Kowalkiewicz at the event this Saturday, is furious with what went down and didn’t hold back during an interview with TMZ. Take a look below.
UFC 223 takes place on April 7 from the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York, United States. The preliminary card featuring Kowalkiewicz vs. Herrig will be aired live on Fox Sports 1 from 8pm EST.
