Valentina Shevchenko stuns in new photo shoot release

UFC bantamweight Valentina Shevchenko looks stunning in a new photo she posted to her social media pages. She recently took part in a photo shoot with Marchyn, and today she has released the first snap. (Scroll down to take a look).

Shevchenko (14-2-0) is currently the number-two ranked bantamweight fighter in the world, behind the current UFC bantamweight champion Amanda Nunes. Since joining the UFC, she has picked up impressive victories over Sarah Kaufman, Holly Holm and Julianna Pena.

The 29-year-old previously fought the UFC bantamweight champion, Amanda Nunes, back in March 2016, losing by way of a unanimous decision. However, although Nunes won the first two rounds, Shevchenko completely turned things around and dominated the third round. This has led many to believe that Shevchenko will emerge victorious in a five-round fight, due to Nunes’ cardio issues.

The pair were scheduled to rematch last Saturday 8th July in the main event of the UFC 213 pay-per-view event, however Nunes pulled out from the fight just hours before the event was scheduled to air, citing Sinusitis as the reason for her withdrawal. Shevchenko has since spoken out, saying she doesn’t 100% believe Nunes’ excuse. UFC president Dana White has also backed up Shevchenko’s claims, saying he belives Nunes’ withdrawal was more of a mental problem than a physical one. White is aiming to reschedule the fight for the UFC 215 event in September.
