Tonight, at UFC on FOX in Orlando, Fla., the first of three women’s bouts took place in the strawweight division as the number fourteen ranked Maryna Moroz met Alliance MMA’s Angela “Overkill” Hill.
The first round took place on the feet— both fighters traded quick and snappy combos but it was Hill’s punches that looked to be the more effective.
The second frame saw a similar pace— Hill was landing more shots but Moroz was remaining active and pushing a fast pace. Hill managed to get a trip takedown mid-round, but the fighters were back to their feet shortly after.

In the final round, Hill’s activity began to fade. Moroz became more aggressive and did her best work in the third frame. Hill was never out of the fight, landing quality shots until the end of the round.
