Montana De La Rosa vs. Mara Romero Borella, flyweight bout

Main Card, 8pm EST live on ESPN+

An intriguing flyweight showdown takes place on the main card between Montana De La Rosa and Mara Romero Borella.

De La Rosa (10-5-0) looks to rebound from the first loss of her UFC career after losing a decision to Andrea Lee at this past June’s UFC on ESPN+ 12 event. Prior to the defeat, De La Rosa was 3-0 with the organization with submission victories over Nadia Kassem, Rachael Ostovich and Christina Marks. The 24-year-old will make history at Saturday’s event when herself and her husband, Mark, become the first husband and wife duo to compete on the same UFC card.

Borella (12-6-0, 2 NC) looks to rebound from a third-round TKO loss to Lauren Murphy at the UFC on ESPN 5 event last August. The 33-year-old from Italy is 2-2 since signing with the organization, with an additional defeat to Katlyn Chookagian and wins over Kalindra Faria and Taila Santos.

Macy Chiasson vs. Shanna Young, bantamweight bout

Prelims, 5pm EST live on ESPN+

An exciting bantamweight fight features on the preliminary card between TUF 28 winner, Macy Chiasson, and short-notice promotional newcomer, Shanna Young.

Chiasson (5-1-0) will be looking to rebound from her first professional career loss after losing a unanimous decision to Lina Lansberg at this past September’s UFC on ESPN+ 18 event. Prior to the defeat, Chiasson was 3-0 with the UFC, stoppage victories over Pannie Kianzad, Gina Mazany and Sarah Moras. The 28-year-old was coached by Kelvin Gastelum on TUF 28 and picked up finishes over Larissa Pacheco and Leah Letson throughout her time on the show.

Young (7-2-0) accepted the UFC call-up against Chiasson on just five-days notice. The 28-year-old is an Invicta FC, King of the Cage and Valor Fighting Challenge veteran who is coming off an impressive unanimous decision victory over Maiju Suotama. She owns notable career victories over reigning Invicta FC featherweight champ Pam Sorenson and PFL lightweight Moriel Charneski.
