UFC Raleigh tonight: Who’s Fighting and How To Watch

UFC on ESPN+ 24 takes place this Saturday January 25, 2020, from the PNC Arena in Raleigh, North Carolina, United States.

Three exciting female bouts feature at the event, across the main and preliminary cards.

Here’s a rundown of the three female UFC fights coming up this week, as well as how to watch them live.

Strawweight bout, Hannah Cifers vs. Angela Hill

Main Card – 8pm EST, airing LIVE on ESPN+

Cifers (10-3-0) had a successful run with the UFC in 2019, going 2-0 with decision victories over Polyana Viana and Jodie Esquibel. The 27-year-old, also known as ‘Shockwave’, hasn’t lost to anyone who actively competes at 115-pounds in the UFC and will be looking to fight a ranked opponent next if she can get past Hill.

Hill (10-7-0) looks to build off an impressive third-round TKO win over Ariane Carnelossi at this past September’s UFC on ESPN+ 17 event. The 33-year-old, a former Invicta FC strawweight champion, owns notable promotional wins over Maryna Moroz, Jodie Esquibel and Ashley Yoder.

Flyweight bout, Justine Kish vs. Lucie Pudilova

Prelims – 5pm EST, airing LIVE on ESPN+

Kish (6-2-0) returns to the cage after almost two years, having gone on a two-fight losing streak before her hiatus. Before moving up to the 125-pound division, Kish enjoyed a successful run at 115-pounds in which she picked up notable wins over Nina Ansaroff, Randa Markos and Ashley Yoder. The 31-year-old will be looking to start afresh in her UFC return and use 2020 to get a winning streak going.

Pudilova (8-5-0) looks to rebound from a second-round submission loss to Antonina Shevchenko at this past August’s UFC on ESPN 5 event. The 25-year-old is known for putting on ‘Fight of the Night’ worthy performances, an accolade she has won with the UFC on two separate occasions. She owns notable promotional wins over Ji Yeon Kim and Sarah Moras.

Bantamweight bout, Sara McMann vs. Lina Lansberg

Prelims – 5pm EST, airing LIVE on ESPN+

McMann (11-5-0) returns to MMA competition after almost two years, having taken time off the sport to start to give birth to a baby boy. The 39-year-old owns notable promotional wins over Jessica Eye, Alexis Davis and Lauren Murphy. Prior to her hiatus, the former Olympic wrestler was on a two-fight losing skid, submission losses to Ketlen Vieira and Marion Reneau.

Lansberg (10-4-0) is coming off a hugely successful 2019 in which she took out former Invicta FC bantamweight champ, Tonya Evinger, as well as handing TUF 28 winner, Macy Chiasson, her first loss in MMA. Also known as the ‘Elbow Queen’, the 37-year-old will be looking to build on her impressive 2019 run by continuing to pick up the wins in 2020 and put herself into title contention by the end of the year.
