UFC Fight Pass to feature women’s welterweight fight on January 17, Maura Tynanes VS Holli Salazar set for AFC 136

A women’s welterweight fight between Maura Tynanes and Holli “The Hunter” Salazar has been added to the AFC 136 event on January 17th. The event will air live on UFC Fight Pass.

Welterweight contender Maura Tynanes set to compete in high-profile UFC Fight Pass bout on January 17.

Tynanes (1-0) trains at the Jesus is Lord gym in Hawaii, along with Invicta FC star and TUF 26 cast member, Rachael Ostovich. She made her professional debut this past March for the AFC, choking out Avril Straub in the very first round. Prior to making the move to MMA, Tynanes, who was undefeated as an amateur, already had a background in combat sports, being a former collegiate/freestyle wrestler who placed second at nationals during her first year in college, she is also a black belt division naga championship winner.

Salazar (0-0) will be making her professional debut following a successful amateur run in which she’s coming off an impressive 40-second submission win over Camee Adams. Salazar fights out of Colorado and currently trains at the Golden Fights Cage Wars MMA Gym.
