On Saturday in Singapore, Holly Holm (10-3) will headline a UFC event for the third time in her career. This time around the former bantamweight champion will be taking on Brazil’s Bethe Correia (10-2-1) in a crucial bout. Before Holm looks to get back in the win column, check out her work in the fight that earned her a title shot aganst Ronda Rousey.
At UFC 184, Holly Holm made her long awaited and highly anticipated UFC debut by defeating Racquel Pennington via split-decision. Months later she returned to the octagon to make her sophomore UFC appearance, this time against Marion Reneau. Holly’s volume and accuracy of strikes led her to a clear unanimous decision victory over Reneau. After this fight, Holm would go on to challenge and defeat Ronda Rousey for the belt later that year.
UFC Fight 111 takes place at the Singapore Indoor Stadium in Singapore on June 17th.
