This Saturday in Singapore, Holly Holm (10-3) and Bethe Correia (10-2-1) will headline UFC Fight Night 111 in a telling bantamweight affair. Before “The Preacher’s Daughter” and the “Pitbull” collide, check out some of Correia’s best work inside the octagon.
In 2014, Bethe Correia was on a mission to rid the UFC of the “Four Horsewomen”. After handing Jessamyn Duke a unanimous decision loss at UFC 172, she turned her sights toward Shayna Baszler at UFC 177. In the first round, Baszler would test the ground game the then undefeated Correia. Correia held up defensively and in the second round, she landed a series of heavy punches to put Baszler away, earning Correia the second finish victory of her career.
UFC Fight Night 111 takes place at the Singapore Indoor Stadium in Singapore on July 17th.
Will Bethe dance her way to victory this Saturday?
