UFC announces Ronda Rousey Hall of Fame induction

Tonight, at UFC 225 in Chicago, the UFC announced that “Rowdy” Ronda Rousey will be inducted into the UFC Hall of Fame.

Rousey, now a WWE Superstar, makes history once again by becoming the first woman to be inducted into the Hall.

From 2012-2015, Ronda Rousey reigned over the UFC bantamweight division– defending her title six times (all finishes) and building a bridge between MMA and mainstream media.  A trailblazer in women’s MMA, setting and breaking unprecedented records has secured her place alongside some MMA greats such as Chuck Liddell, Royce Gracie, and Matt Hughes. She will be officially inducted on July 5.

Ronda Rousey, whether you love her or hate her, will go down in history as one of MMA’s greatest.

  1. I thought so as well. Just wished she changed managers and training camps. I think she could have achieved so much more.
