On tonight’s episode of The Ultimate Fighter, the sixth seed, Montana Stewart of Team Gaethje, faced the eleventh seed, Ariel Beck of Team Alvarez. Check out the highlights below!
Beck started the fight by landing some fluid boxing combinations to the head and the body of Stewart. Beck’s striking got the attention of Coach Gaethje who said, “she punched a lot harder than I thought she could.” A little less than halfway into the first round, Stewart read an overhand right from Beck and grabbed a hold of her. They worked up against the cage and Stewart eventually secured the takedown and the momentum shifted. Stewart kept solid top control and worked some heavy shots before advancing position. Stewart cements a d’arce choke and forces Beck to tap!
Post-fight, an elated Montana Stewart reiterated her desire to finish opponents and become the first ever UFC flyweight champion.
