Tito Ortiz offers to help Carla Esparza during financially difficult time

Bellator fighter and former UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Tito Ortiz has offered to help former UFC Women’s Strawweight Champion “The Cookie Monster” Carla Esparza with her money issues.

Former UFC Strawweight Champion, Esparza says she only has enough in her bank account to pay for 2 more months of bills

Esparza is trying to sell her Harley Davidson motorcycle she received for winning season 20 of The Ultimate Fighter in order to make ends meet. She is coming off a decision win over Juliana Lima back in April. Her previous fight took place over a year earlier in March 2015 when she lost her title. Esparza has fought three times in the UFC since debuting for the promotion back in December 2014.

Esparza revealed in a post on InstagramIt’s very unfortunate that I am selling this bike not because I want to, but because I HAVE to in order to make ends meet,” Esparza wrote on her Instagram. “After having a year off from shoulder surgery (injury obtained at UFC 185), taking a short notice fight, and then 8 months since that fight, I literally have enough in my bank account to pay for 2 more months of bills.”

Ortiz has now responded to Esparza’s post offering to help “The Cookie Monster”.

I will try to help!” Ortiz wrote. “We don’t know each other but we are fighters. Direct message me if your interested I would like to help you out I’ll give you some cash and hold your bike on consignment until you fight? I would like you to keep your bike”.
