UFC bantamweight Sarah Moras hoping for move up to featherweight after this Sunday’s fight

Sarah Moras has revealed that she struggles to make it down to 135-pounds and would ideally like to move up to the featherweight division after this Sunday’s UFC Fight Night 126 event.

Moras wants to move up to featherweight.

Moras (5-2) is amongst the best fighters in the world at 135-pounds, currently ranked at number-thirteen in the UFC’s media rankings and number-eight in the WMMA world rankings. The 29-year-old is scheduled to take on Lucie Pudilova this Sunday and looks to put herself on a two-fight win streak after submitting Ashlee Evans-Smith in the first round this past September.

The “Cheesecake” revealed during a recent interview with Fightful MMA’s James Lynch that she would like to move up to 145-pounds if the UFC decide to finally build the division.

“It’s always a bit of a struggle. I really want to move up a weight class. It seems they are really not trying to build that division. It’d be nice if they started to,” said Moras. “I feel like the more I work out, the more muscle I get, the harder it is to make weight because I’m bigger. Leaner but weight the same or more. So, it’s always a struggle for me,” she continued.
