Sabina Mazo to make UFC debut versus Maryna Moroz at UFC on ESPN 2

Unbeaten flyweight prospect and former LFA flyweight champion, Sabina Mazo, is scheduled to make her UFC debut versus Maryna Moroz at UFC on ESPN 2 on March 30.

At 21 years-old, Mazo (6-0) is a highly touted flyweight prospect. She garnered attention on the regional scene for some highlight reel head kick knockouts. She has mainly competed in LFA, where she was the flyweight champion– last defending her belt at LFA 54 in November by defeating Carol Yariwaka via unanimous decision.

Moroz (8-3) is 3-3 in the UFC. She is coming off the first two-fight skid of her career with losses to Carla Esparza and Angela Hill. Moroz was scheduled to compete in late 2018 versus Veronica Macedo but a foot injury forced her out of the bout. She will be moving up to 125 pounds for the first time in the UFC.

Who ya got– ‘The Iron Lady’ or ‘The Colombian Queen’?
