Sabina Mazo to face Silvana Gomez Juarez for vacant LFA flyweight title on March 9

On March 9, a flyweight title fight will headline LFA 35.Flyweight prospects Sabina Mazo (4-0) and Silvana Gomez Juarez (6-1) are scheduled to face off for the vacant LFA flyweight championship, Legacy Fighting Alliance confirmed the line-up on Monday. LFA 35 takes place at the Arena Theatre in Houston, TX. The main card airs on AXS TV on March 9.

Mazo rides a four-fight win streak, with her last two victories coming by way of viral first round head kick knockouts. Her last fight was in September.

Juarez last fought in March, defeating Maria Vega via first round TKO. The sole loss of her career comes from UFC’s Poliana Botelho in 2015.

The LFA yweight title was vacated by Andrea “KGB” Lee when she signed a contract with the UFC last year. She was the first LFA women’s flyweight champion.
