Rose Namajunas vs. Jessica Andrade, strawweight title | This Saturday, UFC 237 Main Event | 10pm ET, LIVE on PPV

This Saturday’s UFC 237 event is set to be headlined by a highly anticipated women’s strawweight title fight when Rose Namajunas puts her belt on the line against Jessica Andrade.

Namajunas (8-3) looks to make her second defense of the strawweight title after capturing the belt via first-round knockout against Joanna Jedrzejczyk in November 2017, and then once again emerging victorious in the rematch in April 2018. The ‘Thug’ owns notable promotional victories over the likes of Michelle Waterson, Tecia Torres, Paige VanZant and Angela Hill.

Andrade (19-6) has won six of her last seven since moving down to strawweight and is coming off a brutal knockout victory over Karolina Kowaliewicz at the UFC 228 event last September. Other victories at 115-pounds include dominant performances over Claudia Gadelha, Tecia Torres, Joanne Calderwood and Jessica Penne.

UFC 237 takes place this Saturday May 11 2019 from the Jeunesse Arena in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The main card, headlined by Namajunas vs. Andrade, will be aired live on pay-per-view from 10pm EST.

  1. And rod has a thick bull neck with so much meat around her neck bones that there’s no way you can punch her head to make it go flailing, in other words you can’t shake her brain enough to give her a knockout. Compare that with Joanna who has a more slender neck. Skinny Rose is stronger than she looks I will have to choke out this girl do a flying armbar or something. Brazilian horse horsepower cannot be beaten
