Ronda Rousey challenges for the WWE Raw Women’s Championship on June 17.

Rousey, a former UFC bantamweight champion and future Hall of Famer, will compete in what will be her second ever pro-wrestling match following her debut this past April. The 31-year-old electrified viewers in her in-ring debut at Wrestlemania 34, successfully showing the world why she belongs in the professional wrestling industry.

Professional wrestling is a form of performance art which combines athletics with theatrical performance. The matches have predetermined outcomes to heighten entertainment value and all combative maneuvers are executed with the full cooperation of those involved and carefully performed in specific manners intended to lessen the chance of actual injury. These facts were once kept highly secretive, but are now a widely accepted open secret.

WWE’s Money In The Bank 2018 takes place on June 17 from the Allstate Arena in Rosemont, Illinois. The event will be aired live on PPV and the WWE Network from 8pm EST.
