Ronda Rousey announces date for first live TV interview since losing to Nunes

Former UFC bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey has not competed inside the octagon since her brutal first round loss to reigning champion Amanda Nunes last December at UFC 207.

Since then, UFC president Dana White has revealed that it is unlikely “Rowdy” will ever fight again. The 30-year-old has instead decided to concentrate on her television and acting career.

However, it appears that Rousey may soon be forced to address her MMA career to the world. MMA reporter Ariel Helwani has revealed on his Twitter page that Rousey will appear on “Live with Kelly and Ryan” next Wednesday July 5th.

Fight fans, are you excited to see the first live TV interview with Rousey since her devastating loss to Nunes? Let us know in the comments section below.

  1. So we can hear whether she gets yet another undeserved title shot or if she is retiring? Rousey did a lot for women’s mma but the key word is “did”. Past tense. The sport passed her by as she refused to evolve.

    1. How did she not deserve the title shot? She defended the belt six times in dominant fashion and was always gonna get the shot cause that’s what happens when you defend at least three times. And like it or not nobody in that division will be as dominant as she was and still is, will never be the star she is nor defend that belt as many times.
