Former UFC bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey has already made the championship weight limit ahead of her UFC 207 pay-per-view return, which takes place this Friday night (Dec. 30, 2016) inside T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.
“She already weighs 135 pounds, she won’t have to cut any weight,” UFC President Dana White told CNN. “She’s in phenomenal shape. She’s physically, mentally, and emotionally ready for this fight.”
Rousey will face reigning women’s 135-pound champion Amanda Nunes in a five-round PPV main event, marking her first appearance since a dramatic knockout loss to Holly Holm in late 2015.
