Saturday at the Road FC 39 event, Seo Hee Ham defeated Mina Kurobe by way of a third-round TKO to become the first ever Road FC atomweight champion.
Ham improves her record to 17-8-0. The victory is an impressive one for the former UFC strawweight veteran, taking out the number-two ranked atomweight fighter in the world. The 30-year-old was visibly overcome with emotion following the win.
Meanwhile, Kurobe falls to 10-3-0 and sees the end of an impressive five-fight win streak. She is currently the reigning atomweight champion as part of DEEP JEWELS.
