RIZIN superstar Gabi Garcia has teased the introduction of a championship belt for her division.
Speaking on social media, the undefeated Brazilian said “I living for this! Dreams come true! I need this
@rizin_PR belt!“. She followed up with “I’m going to dedicate my life to this belt being mine”. (Scroll down to see the original posts).
Garcia (4-0-0) is currently the number one heavyweight fighter in the world. She’s finished many of the divisions top contenders including Lei’D Tapa, Anna Maliukova and Destanie Yarbrough. She was a 10x BJJ World Champion prior to making the move to MMA. At 6’2 and well over 200-pounds, the 31-year-old believes she is the baddest woman on the planet.
An introduction of a new championship title belt for the division would certainly be an exciting one. It is not yet known if the belt will be exclusively for heavyweights, or perhaps at an openweight.
